Pocket-Jongg 4.0.net for MS Smartphone released - old game rewritten using .NET Compact Framework December 08, 2004 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. Usually developers don't mention explicility what technology they used to write given program (Windows Mobile games are usually written in C/C++ though). Here however developer clearly mentions that this is not just new version but wholly redesigned program that works now in .NET Compact Framework (kind of "Java for Windows Mobile"). We were reporting previously about older version of this smartphone game but now the new version has been released, that apart from being written in .NET adds some features: Play this strategic puzzle game with your own pictures and photos .... or use the famous Majongg tiles....or even download new Tile Sets from the Internet. Pocket-Jongg Version 4.0 is an adaptation of Mahjongg but with completely different rules. Version 4.0 has been redesigned for the latest generations of Pocket PC 2003 and Smartphone 2003 using the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework. Full support for Pocket PC 2003 and Smartphone 2003 using the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework Download new TileSets from the Internet directly from within your game. If a new TileSet is available you can find it easily in the Options Dialog of Pocket-Jongg. After downloading play with the new TileSet even if you are not connected to the Internet. Play with your own pictures as the background or even as your TileSet! Pocket-Jongg 4.0 can use your local pictures as background or even as TileSet pictures.
