Camera Patch for i-mate JAM released by Club i-mate January 12, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Cell phones made by HTC are sold under different brands - both operator (i.e. carrier) brands (like T-Mobile, Orange, etc) and distributor brands (like Qtek, i-mate, etc). For people buying these phones without subscription one question arises: where to buy HTC made cell phone? Which place is the best? Well, judging from frequency of providing software updates and patches now the answer seems to be clear: i-mate.
This time i-mate provides a patch for i-mate JAM - a mini Pocket PC phone (known also as XDA II Mini, MDA Compact, etc): This page contains a Camera Patch for the i-mate JAM device. Future releases of the software will be posted on this page for i-mate customers, so keep it bookmarked! A patch to improve the performance of the camera on the i-mate JAM is available for download. The patch improves the responsiveness of the camera when the shutter button is pressed. Settings to improve the sensitivity of the camera under normal light conditions are also modified by this patch. To get this patch (you must log-in first, registration possible only for users of i-mate devices upon providing valid IMEI number) click here.
