For developers: next Microsoft mobile developers conference will be in Las Vegas, USA - May 9-12 - 2005
January 19, 2005 [General] | By Edward J. R.

Last time during Microsoft's developer conference James Pratt was clad as Microsoft Smartphone (the one to the right):

smartphone and Pocket PC phone

... and now he is getting ready for the next Microsoft mobile developers conference. Although it may be fascinating to learn, what costume will be James wearing this year (SPOT watch? Portable Media Center?) more interesting is to know, that this year Microsoft will be presenting Windows CE 5.0 for sure and if everything goes well participants will get a DVD disc with emulators of Pocket PC and Microsoft Smartphone powered by Windows Mobile 2005 (Magneto) - the one based on Windows CE 5.0 !

More informaton from James Pratt from Microsoft follows.

I'm particularly excited this year because I'm the event/content owner which means I'm involved in the process of pulling the event together from end to end. To get to the point of announcing the venue, dates etc has taken a number of months already and most of my working days are filled with MEDC. It's a tonne of fun. If you attended MDC or EDC last year, I'm interested to hear your thoughts on what you liked and didn't like and if there's anything you particularly want to see/hear about at this year's conference.

It seems that there is no official website for this conference yet, but James Pratt from Microsoft is collecting feedback here.
