T-Mobile SDA music is awarded FIRST PRIZE in cell phone comparison test
January 20, 2005 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R.

T-Mobile SDA Music is perfect for listening to music and excellent for listening to podcasts (it has Windows Media Player 10 which can play video and audio, including MP3 files with embedded images that it shows on the display!) - therefore no wonder that the biggest communications magazine in EU - "connect" - awarded first prize to this excellent smartphone, that has no equals among Symbian phones... and it even features additional physical buttons to control the Windows Media Player!

T-Mobile SDA Music - Microsoft Smartphone

"The SDA music is unsurpassed in the test" - was the conclusion of the latest cell phone test in the german electronics magazine "connect" (2/2005). By scoring 393 of 500 possible points and the overall assessment "good", T-Mobile’s SDA music took first place when compared with seven other models. The multimedia device’s features, the substantial memory capacity and the good value for the money were the most influential factors.

The testers were impressed with the amount of storage: A mini-SD card with 128 Megabyte (MB) storage capacity is included, and demos of videos, games and small additional programs are already pre-installed. There is also enough room for sound files and data on the 64 MB hard drive and the 32 MB working memory. The included headset and the integrated MP3 player provide maximum listening enjoyment when you play your music files. The separate control buttons for the music-player turn the cell phone "into a genuine MP3 player," reported "connect." The SDA music also offers a number of office and organizer functions, plus email.

The SDA music package includes a stereo headset, USB cable and cover as well as extra software, such as the PC synchronization program Activ Sync and a complete version of Microsoft Outlook 2002. Microsoft’s Windows Mobile operating system with its familiar, home PC interface lets you easily access the multimedia and office functions. Furthermore, the model makes an impression with its distinctively elegant design and a large crystal-clear display.
