Great Today Extension for O2 Xda II Mini (not only...) February 01, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Lutzh Haedrich. By Lutzh O2 is currently working on a great plugin for the today screen of the Xda II Mini called O2 Plus. It includes tools that usually are provided by 3rd party developers, like carrier name on today screen, profile settings and quick launch bars. We've got our hands on it - and love it! ![]() O2 Plus is a great extension of your XDA II Mini today screen. It reminds on SPB Plus with its tabs for applications and its icons for battery and memory. But it is enhanced with carrier and profile information! It also brings up a shortcut to alarms, quick switching for landscape and portrait mode of the screen. All we can say is: Thank you O2! This is by far the most complete and useful today plugin that the XDA II Mini needed! Checkout the following screenshots: The plugin on the today screen ![]() The call divert setup - you can define a set of numbers you want to forward your calls through ![]() A big icon shows up if you activated a divert ![]() Now you can define certain profiles with ringtone/sound settings ![]() The profile is always available on the today screen ![]() The application list - you define what you want to see here ![]() A MRU (most recently used) like list of active programs ![]() About O2Plus ![]() Settings for O2Plus in detail ![]() Now we don't even know if this plugin is available already. But if you look around you'll find it (see link below). There's also a version that works on O2 Xda II Mini's brothers like the MDA compact. As you can see on the screenshots we are using it with Vodafone. Check out xda-developers.com for O2 Plus - the best ressource for all kind of Pocket PC development!!
