Monopoly of Orange UK in Microsoft smartphones ends: T-Mobile UK launches SDA February 11, 2005 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. This is very exciting news for all Brits, because by now Orange UK practically had monopoly as far as Microsoft Smartphone powered cell phones are concerned, and Orange UK was dictating conditions. Apart from T-Mobile SDA - the classic Microsoft Smartphone branded by T-Mobile, we can expect also other models coming to UK: T-Mobile SDA Music (the smartphone with brilliant additional buttons for music player control) and T-Mobile MDA Compact (the extremely popular mini Pocket PC with megapixel camera and extremely small size)... the first step - with SDA smartphone - however has been made and it is now available commercially in UK! "Bearing in mind it's a brand new out of the box phone it was extremely quick and very responsive. Camera quality actually looked a bit better than my SPV C500, if that’s possible!" "Price is £89.99 but you can pick it up for £49.99 on a Relax 200Min plan. That tariff has a 6 month half price line rental promotion on it at the moment." Want a T-Mobile SDA ? Live in the UK ? These should be appearing in every T-Mobile shop very soon! To read more about T-Mobile UK releasing T-Mobile SDA and to see some photos, click here.
