3GSM World Congress 2005 coverage: Scott Horn from Microsoft speaks about ARPU February 17, 2005 [General] | By anonymous 1. In a session "Driving ARPU, not Just Subscriber Numbers" at 3GSM World Congress 2005 Mike Wehrs was scheduled to speak on behalf of Microsoft. Unfortunately (?) Mike Wehrs no longer works in Windows Mobile division of Microsoft (he moved to another department of Microsoft, where talboid press like msmobiles.com is not tormenting him) therefore Scott Horn - Senior Director of Marketing at Microsoft - has taken Mike's place and was participating in this session (Scott is the first from the left):
... and here is closer glance at Scott Horn, while he was speaking at 3GSM:
To listen excerpts from this session where Scott Horn speaks about ARPU and about Windows Mobile click here (MP3 file with audio recording, size: 2.5 MB). Unfortunately moderator of this session (Alan Hellawell, Managing Director, Lehman Brothers Asia) was extremely poorly prepared and his moderation was very poor - even ladies carrying microphones agreed on it with us, when we were discussing it. The result of this very poor session moderation by moderator was such that there was no time for Q&A - questions from audience. Therefore we couldn't ask any question... and we present just excerpts from the session, only those excerpts where Scott Horn is speaking. Other participants were not speaking about Windows Mobile, therefore we have edited them out from the recording. Also Suzan DelBene from Microsoft was participating in one of 3GSM sessions (she is the second from the right):
... however due to our schedule conflicts we didn't manage to record her! Unfortunately, at the time when she was speaking, we had 1-to-1 interview with somebody, what clearly had higher priority than session, where we are only a listeners... we apologize for the inconvenience.
