Major breakthrough for Microsoft Smartphone: Audible player now available also for Windows Mobile smartphone ! February 24, 2005 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. Make no mistake: it's an early Beta version yet, but it is sign of things to come:  ... what means: full support for Audible for Microsoft Smarpthone is coming! In other words: vast library of (copyrighted and high value) audio books will become available not only for Pocket PC owners but also for Microsoft Smartphone users! Please note: once again users of Symbian phones are losing because there is no Audible for Symbian although there is one for Pocket PC (Microsoft) and for Palm OS... so conclusions are clear: do not buy Symbian phones! According to Audible this player works only with Audiovox STM 5600 and Samsung i600... and to get it one must go to http://audible.com/software/ and then one must choose Pocket PC. On the next screen you should see smartphone as an optional download: with text "SmartPhone for WindowsMobile"!
