Lenovo ET960 Pocket PC phone is on sale with worldwide delivery March 02, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. The new GSM/GPRS Pocket PC from Lenovo combines stunning style, functionality and power - with features such as Bluetooth, 1.3MP digital camera, Pocket PC 2003 SE, Tri-band GSM and GPRS and SDIO/MMC expansion slot
The Lenovo ET960 is the newest GSM/GPRS Pocket PC available, and offers a raft of impressive features. A tri-band GSM/GPRS module allows calls almost anywhere in the world, with full IrDA and Bluetooth connectivity. The ET960 is driven by a 312MHz Intel PXA272 CPU, with a total of 128MB of memory - enough for any application. The ET960 also includes a 1.3MP integrated digital camera, in a revolving module for ease of use, which can take fantastic pictures. These can be sent using any of the varied connectivity options, or stored on either the 128MB of internal memory or on a memory card in the SDIO/MMC slot. Commentary: this phone has stylish design but it costs 2 times as much as T-Mobile MDA Compact that is available in EU at some shops for mere 400 Euro... while at the same time Lenovo ET960 has no Wi-Fi and essentially offers the same as T-Mobile MDA Compact: built-in Bluetooth and megapixel camera. The only advantage of Lenovo ET960 is that it has rotational camera!
