Sierra Wireless releases ROM upgrade for Voq - with Windows Media Player 10 update too ! March 09, 2005 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. Due to major design errors (big size, lack of Bluetooth) the Voq smartphone has no market chances, but it may find some fans thanks to the built-in Qwerty keyboard... so it is good news to learn that Sierra Wireless - a Canadian company - is now offering ROM upgrade for Voq smartphone! This ROM upgrade is also the first one among smartphones, that brings new version of the Windows Media Player, i.e. it upgrades it from version 9 to contemporary version 10! Unfortunately all other operators, distributors and manufacturers have not provided such upgrade yet, for example: users of Orange SPV C500 are still stuck with Windows Media Player 9...
