For developers: Micro Script Host and SQLite COM database - COM objects pack - released now also for Microsoft Smartphone March 15, 2005 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. Previously available for Windows XP and for Windows Mobile for Pocket PC, now it is available also for Microsoft Smartphone. It includes even SQL engine - 2nd free SQL engine for Microsoft Smartphone device of which we have heard! (please note: Windows Mobile codename "Magneto" will have Microsoft's own "SQL Server 2005 Mobile Edition" embedded in ROM). Special edition for Smartphone 2003 and later has been added with Micro Script Host designed for smartphone user interface. Excerpt from the documentation: This archive contains the binary files of AXPack1 Family Platform: Microsoft Smaprtphone 2003 (and later), Processor: ARM4 See the version information published on the site and check the version data in the DLL/EXE files. Manual installation Copy all the files to your device - in the internal storage or on a Storage card. Create shortcut to nwmicrohost.exe if you do not have a file manager application on your phone. Start it and register the DLL-s. The register DLL function is in Menu->Tools. Note that all the DLL files in this package are the standard DLL files for CE.NET arm4 based platforms. Only the Micro Script Host application is a special Smartphone edition. Smartphone 2003 ships with JScript 5.5 script engine already installed, if you need VBScript note that it is not pre-installed on the phone. You can get the vbscript.dll from Pocket PC SDK (for ARM processor) and register it with Micro Script Host on your device (as regular DLL - the repair Script engines registration function wont work). Get whichever files you need from this archive and put them in your setup and other kind of redistribution packages.
