VPA Compact mini Pocket PC phone is now on sale at Vodafone Germany April 14, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. No, it's not available yet at Vodafone UK, but it will clearly be available in UK soon too! 
This phone costs 199,90 Euro on "Vodafone 100" tariff or 519,90 Euro without any subscription. Vodafone VPA Compact is based on "HTC Magician" design, that is available also under such names as T-Mobile MDA Compact, i-mate JAM or Qtek S100. While this phone doesn't have built-in Wi-Fi, it offers full Pocket PC compatibility for a price similar to prices of Microsoft Smartphones + it has abilty to connect Wi-Fi cards through SDIO card slot (the latest generations of SDIO Wi-Fi cards are much smaller and protrude much less than the older models - so you can carry your Wi-Fi card with phone without the need to take it out).
