April 27, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R.
O2 Asia and O2 Europe are 2 different operators - according to O2 itself - but clearly very often offer the same models of cell phones. Although there is no O2 Xda II Mini in Europe yet, now Asia will get O2 XDA IIi - a Pocket PC phone with built-in Wi-Fi and look and feel of the classic O2 XDA II...
Some highlights about O2 Xda IIi:
- processor: Intel XScale PXA 272 520MHz (not 400 MHz like in old Xda II)
- RAM and ROM: 128 MB each
- tri-band GSM
- Wireless LAN: IEEE 802.11b compliant - Wi-Fi is built in
- no Qwerty keyboard built-in but attachable thumb keyboard available as accessory
- display: 3.5 inch, resolution: 320x240 pixels
- camera: Colour CMOS 1.3 mega-pixel camera with
Preview mirror and with
Support of still image and video capture
