For developers: new audio interview about Windows Mobile and .NET Compact Framework 2.0 May 04, 2005 [General] | By Edward J. R. Next week MEDC 2005 conference will take place in Las Vegas in USA. Apart from unveiling next version of Windows Mobile (codename "Magneto") Microsoft will reveal also new development tools and new APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for Windows Mobile. Conclusion: not only improvements in Windows Mobile layer of applications are coming, but also for developers significant improvements (like new APIs, new major version of .NET Compact Framework, new Visual Studio 2005) will be released! Robert Levy mentions also that Visual Studio 2005 will be released at the end of year 2005 and that .NET Compact Framework 2.0 will not be part of initial release of Windows Mobile codename "Magneto", but new APIs will be part of it!
