UK version of ROM update for Orange SPV C500 leaked - official release must be imminent May 26, 2005 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. Previously it was already released in a French version but UK version still is not available... This UK ROM update should include Windows Media Player 10 (WMP10) and is very needed by British users of Orange SPV C500 and it is strange that it has not been released by now. Clearly first version of this ROM upgrade for British Orange SPV C500 already leaked as you can see here, however of course it will not be upgrade to Windows Mobile 5.0 (although Microsoft owns such ROM upgrade) but just to Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition with some patches (like WMP10). Conclusion: although Orange originally was an independent cellular network operator in UK, it has been overtaken by France Telecom, so no wonder ROM upgrade was available at first in France, not in UK, but this big delay is disappointing...
