Now developers (and fans) of software for Windows Mobile 5.0 for smartphone can test their applications with various language versions of this mobile operating system! Microsoft's support for various languages - localization - is excellent and it covers all major European and Asian languages. Localization of applications is crucial for global market success of applications because many people either don't know English good enough or simply prefer using software in their native language. The WM 5.0 Smartphone Software Development Kit (SDK) includes an emulator that uses a virtual machine to run the full WM5.0 Smartphone software independent of your main operating system on the same machine. We’re pleased to release new Emulator Images that allow you to test your applications in all available WM5.0 Smartphone localizations.
