March 05, 2003 [MS Smartphone] | By anonymous 1.

Orange said that it was confident of reaching its target of 25 percent of revenue from non-voice services by 2005. It reported encouraging trends among users of its so-called ´signature´ devices, which have been customised with the Orange ´look-and-feel´, including the Microsoft-based SPV. Orange has sold 40,000 SPVs since October 2002 and expects to sell a further 40,000 by March 2003. According to Orange, SPV customers have higher ARPU and access web-based services an average of six times per day.
