June 09, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R.
Now that BenQ has purchased Siemens Mobile, BenQ is seen as more credible player in mobile phone industry, so it may be interesting to learn that there are some signs that BenQ P50 Pocket PC phone may be even closer to the commercial release:
Why? Because BenQ P50 just appeared on the Taiwanese website of BenQ (in Chinese, but several photos and images available):
Some hihglights about BenQ P50 Pocket PC phone:
- operating system: Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 Pocket PC Phone Edition Second Edition (not Windows Mobile 5.0)
- processor: Intel PXA 272 416MHz
- built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
- quad-band GSM and GPRS (but no 3G and no EDGE)
- software included in the bundle: Skype for Pocket PC, Power Point viewer, Sprite Backup, Papago
