Visual Studio 2005 gives Windows CE developers the ability to write both native and managed code from the same tool and now there's an upgrade wizard to take your existing eMbedded Visual C++ 3.0 or 4.0 applications over to Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2. By the way: situation with native code development deteriorates a bit: now it will be no longer free (eMbedded Visual C++ 3.0 and 4.0 were available for free), but developers will have to buy (!) Visual Studio 2005 to develop native applications, that take advantage of Windows Mobile 5.0 features... To download this wizard click here. Information from Microsoft follows. * * * * * This addin will install into Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 and allow upgrade of eMbedded Visual C++ 3.0 and eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0 projects to Visual Studio 2005. This release is a Beta release and is only intended to be installed on top of Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2. The eVC Upgrade Wizard addon to Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 is an unsupported addon. If you encounter any issues with Visual Studio 2005 after the installation of the eVC Upgrade Wizard addon, it is highly recommended that you repair Visual Studio 2005 (launch the Visual Studio 2005 setup and select "Repair"). This will remove the addon, and restore the Visual Studio 2005 files that this addon modifies
