EzQuote is a simple, fast and easy portfolio tracking application for Windows Mobile Smartphone devices. It enables you to create a list of your favorite stock quotes, and download prices (20-min delayed) and other information on demand. EzQuote is not limited to US markets. It supports stocks, indices and other securities from all major markets around the world.
How to Use
- First, check the Internet connection on your Smartphone. Are you able to browse web sites such as yahoo.com using Internet Explorer? If you use a proxy (e.g. T-Mobile's T-Zones service), press Menu > Options in EzQuote and select the Use Proxy option.
- Press Menu > New to enter a new stock symbol or market index.
- For individual stocks, bonds or mutual funds simply enter the ticker symbol (e.g. YHOO, MSFT, AMZN etc.) If you don't know the ticker symbol, look it up from Yahoo! Finance. For market indices, either highlight one from the list provided, or manually enter the symbol. You can find symbols for global markets by clicking here.
- After you have entered your favorite symbols, press the Update All soft-key button to fetch the latest data. If there is a problem connecting to the Internet, EzQuote will time-out and display an error within 30 seconds.
- After a stock quote has been updated, you can view detailed information by highlighting it and pressing the Action button.
- To delete an entry from your portfolio, highlight it and press Menu > Delete.
- You can adjust the font size used by EzQuote from Menu > Options.
