Samsung SCH-i730 seems to be already available at Verizon Wirelss June 29, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Officially this superb Pocket PC phone should go on sale in USA on July 7, 2005, but it looks like it is already available:
... because as you can see above it is already listed on the website of Verizon Wireless (you may need to enter your ZIP code in USA). The Samsung SCH-i730 is a Pocket PC Phone featuring Windows MobileTM 2003 Pocket PC Phone 2nd Edition software. It's equipped with 1x/EVDO digital download capabilities, has Bluetooth wireless technology and Wi-Fi capabilities. The i730 also has a built-in sliding QWERTY keyboard, dual speakers, SD I/O slot and speakerphone. It's built for people who mean business. It looks like this phone will be Bluetooth -wise crippled and it will not be possible to use it as Bluetooth modem: The i730 supports Bluetooth Profiles for wireless headsets, hands-free accessories, file transfer and synchronization with compatible PC's. It does not support all object exchange (OBEX) profiles.
