Coming soon: Freedom Mini Bluetooth Keyboard August 08, 2005 [General] | By Edward J. R. This mini keyboard may be useful for many people who don't like full size keyboards and prefer thumb-keyboards instead:
... unfortunately this keyboard requires installation of special drivers (available also for Pocket PC and MS Smartphone) and it doesn't support Bluetooth HID profile (that is supported natively in Windows Mobile 5.0 and in Windows XP) therefore we advice you to think twice before buying this keyboard... Carry a keyboard in your pocket! A mini bluetooth keyboard not much bigger than a credit card, for use with compatible Bluetooth PDA's and smartphones. Ultra compact in design and a wide compatiblity with Bluetooth enabled devices, the Freedom mini Bluetooth keyboard extends the input capability of a PDA or smartphone. Type texts, e-mails or documents quickly and accurately with the metal domed, 39 key standard layout, and navigate using a 4-way 'game pad' control. Access to key tasks can be customised by using programmable keys and shortcuts, and a backlight to the keys allows use in dim lighting, such as on a train or plane. Two AAA batteries provide enough power for up to 120 hours of continuous use. An auto power off feature conserves battery life when not in use, and a low battery status indicator reminds you when to change the batteries. To learn more click here. Official website of the vendor is here (information about the mini keyboard is not available there yet - because this keyboard is not on sale yet).
