This photo reveals what chips HTC used to construct HTC Universal - the first UMTS (one of 3G standards) phone powered by Windows Mobile. HTC Universal will be sold by various operators and distributors under such names as Oreange SPV M5000, T-Mobile MDA Pro, O2 Xda Exec and Vodafone VPA IV...
On the picture of the "motherboard" of the HTC Universal one can see:
- Intel PXA270 processor - 5
- 2 times 32MB RAM chips Infineon HYB18L25 6160bf-7.5 ; there is also room for 2 more chips - so total RAM memory in standard version is 64 MB RAM but cleary it could be expended to 128 MB RAM
- xilinx cpld 2c128 programmable logic
- Samsung 32M ram + 32M flash K5D5657ACM - me
- 128MB M-systems DiskOnChip G3 md4331 - Flash memory to store operating system and to provide persistent storage
- Qualcomm msm6250 chipset
- TI tnet W1100BGHH MAC - a chip for Wi-Fi
- Maxim MAX2820 WLAN - a chip for Wi-Fi
- AKM 4641VN Audio CODEC with Bluetooth interface

If you own any Pocket PC phone made by HTC (sold under various names, usually related to operator/distributor) then you can find a lot of support for them at xda-developers.com forum. One can find there even ROM images, tweaks and plenty of support for these phones.
