Many people still don't believe that Palm (known formerly as palmOne) will launch Treo powered by Windows Mobile. Clearly many photos, video recordings, information what company will manufacture it (HTC), information about "UFO Sightings" (where some people showed Windows Mobile Treo to the public shortly) - all it was not enough. So here it comes: information from top executive from Palm itself. We should all at last accept one thing: Windows Mobile powered Treo smartphone from Palm is not a rumor. It is a question only of "when", not a question of "if"... Palm Chief Financial Officer Andrew Brown said that building a Treo that runs on the mobile version of Windows might help the company woo corporate customers who have been reticent to buy its Palm OS-based gadgets. "CIOs don't get fired for using Microsoft products," Brown said, though he did not say whether Palm has such a product in the works. To read more click here. Conclusion: Treo powered by Windows Mobile will constitute big breakthrough and milestone in the history of Windows Mobile phones. We only hope that Palm will not repeat mistake of HP and will not release it with low, incompatible, resolution of 240x240 pixels...
