New freeware : Call Assistant 1.0.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition released August 12, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. After a version for MS Smartphone, now also a version for Pocket PC phones has been released ! How it works? In Pocket PC phone (on photo below: on the left) one must start the Call Assistant, and then when other phone is calling and Pocket PC phone is not taking the call, then Call Assistant is sending SMS to the phone that called (on photo below: on the right)! 
To ensure, that SMS is being sent only to mobile phones and not to fixed line phones, one must configure it properly, for example some mobile phones in UK have prefix "+4478" so it must be entered in this dialog: 
Interestingly the application must be running in background to be active: 
Call Assistant is assisting your while you are busy. It is running on your device and if you activate it, it is waiting for incoming calls and is then automatically sending an SMS to the caller with a defined text like "I am in a meeting, please try later" Features - Send automatically a SMS to Caller - Use one of up to 7 predefined texts - Define a Preselection-range, so Call Assistant is only sending SMS to Mobile Networks - Allow only one SMS per unique Caller or for every call the caller makes - Get a report of the SMS sent by the application and immediatly call back from there with one click - German and English language support To learn more or to download this program for free click here.
