Review: HTC Universal 3G Pocket PC phone August 18, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. The amazing 3G Pocket PC phone with 640x480 display and video calling is already being distributed to Microsoft employees and here comes one of the first practical reviews made by Microsoft employee from UK: The Combination of the VGA Screen, Wifi and 3G make it unique in the Market for Windows Mobile devices. I have found myself spending a lot of time browsing the web marvelling at the gorgeous screen which seems to render web pages (especially with Windows Mobile 5.0) incredibly well. The swivel screen like a Tablet PC allows you to close the screen and protect it when it isn't in use and also is really handy if like me you listen to music on the device as you can close the screen preserving battery life whilst also allowing the Music to play on! The screen also switches neatly between landscape and portrait which is great for Word Documents and Spreadsheets alike. To read more click here.
