GPS Tuner for Smartphone released August 24, 2005 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. This is a nice but not cheap (price: 25 USD) GPS utility for MS Smarpthone (previously available also for Pocket PC), that has various interesting GPS related features, including possibility to generate files in GPX format, that contains information about the route that given person travelled. Files in GPX format can be loaded to a program like Google Earth and then one can get visualization of one's trip in the form of a trace on the map or a trace over satelitte photo. Features: - Digital Compass - Trip Computer - Map screen - Logger (GPX, NMEA) - GPX and LOC file handling - Recording custom waypoints GPS Tuner for Smartphone has been arrived. Because of the limitations of Smartphones, GPS Tuner SP has not got raster map support, but you are able to use Blank Map for displaying your track and waypoints. To learn more click here.
