More good news about HTC Wizard

Despite having slow processor, it appears to be better than it seemed at first...
The good news about HTC Wizard are:
- as you can see here the HTC Wizard (codename "WIZA") features Bluetooth 2.0 - as the first Windows Mobile device ever! Bluetooth 2.0 means faster transfer speeds and more features. At the same time it is mentioned there, that HTC Wizard supports the following Bluetooth profiles: DUN-GW, GAP (generic access), Generic Object Exchange, HandsFree-AG, Headset-AG, HID-Host (the one for Bluetooth keyboards and mice), OPP-Client (object push client), OPP-Server (object push server), SDAP (server discovery), Serial-DevA (serial port), Serial-DevB. Unfortunately LAP and PAN profiles - for Local area network access - are not included.
- several people were testing HTC Wizard with Skype client for Pocket PC and despite having slow processor (just about 200 MHz) in fact voice calls over Skype are working from HTC Wizard fine, provided "echo cancellation" is switched off.
Conclusion: HTC Wizard is small - the same size as HTC Magician aka MDA Compact or i-mate JAM, but just a little bit thicker due to the slide out keyboard. All in all it well may be that HTC Wizard will repeat very big success of HTC Magician and with built-in Wi-Fi new possibilities will arise. The HTC Universal Pocket PC phone is fantastic and its VGA display (640x480 pixels) is brilliant, however it is big and hardly pocketable. Therefore it looks like HTC Wizard will establish itself as a very popular mini Pocket PC phone!
