Review : HP iPAQ hw6715 Pocket PC phone September 23, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Superficially HP iPAQ hw6715 Mobile Messenger looks the same as HP iPAQ hw6515, but it has built-in Wi-Fi instead of SD card. Fortunately somebody managed to test HP iPAQ hw6715 already and you can read short review of this unit! The good news is that apart from Wi-Fi this new Pocket PC phone has also faster processor: Early reports seemed to indicate that the PXA270 processor in the hw6710/hw6715 would only be running at 312MHz. However, this shows the device running at 416MHz. It could just be a feature unique to this pre-production model, though unless we hear otherwise, I think we can assume that HP's new batch of Mobile Messengers will sport a faster processor. ... so the only design flaw of this device remains the display, that has unsatisfactorily low resolution: only 240x240 pixels.
