WARNING: HTC Wizard goes on sale and a pre-ordering (and ordering) drama is unfolding

HTC Wizard Pocket PC phones go on sale these days as i-mate K-JAM and Qtek 9100 and people already are complaining about problems with distributors. We will not name specific distributors, but we will mention what problems are there with i-mate K-JAM and what users should be particularly careful about, when buying HTC Wizard these days....
- some distributors offer extremely high prices - higher than market value - for example $850 US.
- English and English/Arabic versions of i-mate K-JAM are available and users may end up with version that they don't like
- the lowest reasonable price for i-mate K-JAM in USA is $749 US.
- some less reputable distributors are claiming that they have devices (Qtek 9100 for example) early but in fact it is just a trick designed to lock-in customers
- tricks of distributors are designed to make impressio that these devices are already on sale, by use of sentences like "The K-Jam is proving to be a great hit with many customers..." although in fact they haven't sold even one phone!
Conclusion: i-mate K-JAM and Qtek 9100 will be the forerunner of HTC Wizard phones that operators will be selling later - O2 Xda Mini Pro and T-Mobile MDA Vario. Since HTC Wizard is a quad-band and supports EDGE it is perfectly suited for USA and also in USA many customers are readying to buy it as soon as possible. Future customers should take serious precautions when trying to order from various distributors. Now the very desirable HTC Wizard goes on sale and it may be wise decision to wait 2-3 weeks at least and check various respectable forums (like HowardForums.com for USA and MoDaCo.com for UK) before taking final buying decision.
