i-mate K-JAM is in stock and shipping today ! Qtek 9100 on the horizon ... September 30, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Update: see at the end of this news item! The mini Pocket PC phone with built-in Wi-Fi, quand-band GSM, EDGE and slide-out keyboard is on sale at several online retailers starting today - it is "in stock". We will not name these retailers in order not to be partial. Interesting observation: sales are going very well and we can easily predict that already today most online retailers will be out of stock and in "backorder" status... We urgently ask customers to read carefully remarks that we published here - to avoid possible disappointments. Please remember also that price of HTC Wizard at online retailers is only slightly smaller than price of HTC Universal at operators, for example: around 700 Euro for HTC Wizard at online retailers and 750 Euro for HTC Universal at operators, so you may also consider HTC Universal instead. HTC Wizard in form of i-mate JAM is shipping and in stock. Interestingly Qtek has released information about Qtek 9100 (another incarnation of HTC Wizard) and even ultra high resolution photos of Qtek 9100 are available. In any case: the 2nd wave of Windows Mobile 5.0 (after HTC Universal) is now in progress. Go and buy!
