Review : PPC-6700 Pocket PC phone for CDMA EVDO October 06, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. PPC-6700 is now on sale at Sprint USA and it offers 1 Mbps data transfers over CDMA EVDO network. Internally code name of this phone is "HTC Apache" and it features also full Qwerty keyboard, Wi-Fi, and relatively fast processor (416 MHz). There is only one problem with this phone: it is quite thick (similarly like GSM brother of this phone - the HTC Wizard). This review is interesting insofar that it shows real photos of PPC-6700 being held by blond girl... and author of this review uses indeed the term "hottest" ... to depict tihs phone: the PPC-6700 Pocket PC Phone sporting the new Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system and with Sprint’s high-speed EV-DO network capable of data-download rates up to 700 Kbps makes this device the hottest new communication device available on the planet.
