T-Mobile UK launches MDA Pro and announces imminent release of MDA Compact II (!), SDA II and MDA Vario October 07, 2005 [General] | By Edward J. R. MDA Compact II ? What is that? Could it be the HTC Athena (the one with built-in FM radio, Wi-Fi, without keyboard and smaller than MDA Compact in all 3 dimensions)? Anyway: it looks like the T-Mobile is pushing ahead many models of Windows Mobile phones! Unfortunately T-Mobile's "Web'n'walk" offer is not a flat rate mobile Internet access, that some advertisements are suggesting that it is... The Web-friendly handsets T-Mobile is offering with these deals include, at launch, the 3G-capable T-Mobile MDA Pro and and Nokia N70 and 6630, plus the GSM/GPRS MDA Compact and SDA II Windows Mobile smartphones. T-Mobile has configured each of the handsets to have full access to the internet, with Google on the home page and links to the top 20 UK websites to hand. T-Mobile will also be adding another three GSM/GPRS Web’n’walk handsets by Christmas, the MDA Compact II and MDA Vario (a keyboard- and Wi-Fi-equipped Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphone) and the Danger Sidekick II (another keyboard toting device).
