PWP-1 WiFi SmartPhone sighted at CEATEC 2005 trade show in Japan : sign of things to come : Pocket PC phones that look like smartphone

Many models that appear at trade shows never make it to mass production, but we know that also HTC itself is preparing phones that look like this:
... i.e. phones that look like MS Smartphone - with regular cellphone keypad - but are powered by Windows Mobile for Pocket PC operating system! Here are some highlights of this PWP-1 WiFi SmartPhone that was spoted in Japan lately:
- OS : Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC
- for voice over IP both Skype and SIP softphones are used in this phone
- processor: Intel PXA272 520 MHz - to get good voice quality of Skype phone calls minimum is 400 MHz, so 520 MHz ensures decent voice quality
- display: QVGA = 240x320 pixels
- 1.3 megapixel camera
- dimensions: 123×61.5×22 (height × width × depth) mm
- weight : 150 g
- price: 60,000 Yen (= 524 USD = 437 Euro = 300 GBP)
