Review : O2 Xda Atom : (small) size matters ! October 13, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. The fact is that several people got used to small size cellphones and overly big size of smartphones and PDA phones constitutes a psychological barrier for them to switch ... so it is good to know that Quanta that is starting to produce Windows Mobile phones, is able to produce actually smaller devices than HTC! Just take a look at this photo, where you can see from the left the O2 Xda Atom made by Quanta and the smallest Pocket PC phone from HTC (HTC Magician) to the right:
... where you can see that Quanta product is smaller in all dimensions - it is not only thinner but also shorter! While it is totally unclear whether O2 Xda Atom will be available also in Europe (O2 Asia and O2 Europe are separate business operations) or USA, it may be that some operators or distributors will pick it and start selling also "in the west"!
