It is not powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 so it is not worth buying.
Highlights from the original Korean release about this phone:
- model name: Samsung SGH-i300 for USA and Europe or Samsung SGH-i308 for China ("8" is a lucky number in China, "4" is unlucky number there)
- built-in hard disk 3GB (the same as in Samsung SPH-V7900 - another non-smartphone cellphone from Samsung)
- will be available since November in Great Britain, Germany, France and Russia
- plays files in formats: WMA, MP3, AAC and WAV
- 3D stereo sound
- GSM and GPRS but no EDGE, no UMTS
- special wheel for easy control of music player
- 240x320 pixels display
- powered by Windows Mobile 2003 for Smarpthone

We were talking at various trade shows and conferences with Samsung staff and they said that they wouldn't manage to release this phone this year if they would like to put Windows Mobile 5.0 in it. That's why it will be released with old operating system. This is not acceptable. Verdict: don't buy it!
