SiriuCE 1.11 released - new major version of Sirius radio player for Pocket PC November 08, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. We were reporting about Sirius player for Pocket PC previously but now it has been released in new version - 1.11 - and it even was tested with Windows Mobile 5.0:
This is a program written in .Net that basically logs in to and parses out the proper values from the Sirius online player in order to get the stream URL so that it can be passed directly to WMP10. Originally, it was a "hey look! it works" kind of thing, and the source was posted in hope of someone else taking it and making something of it. Fortunately, Kraven stepped up to help with the graphics and we've turned into something a little more professional and easy to use. Obviously it's the same old "use at your own risk" deal, and it's free for download, but don't resell it or anything stupid like that. If you find something wrong with it, shoot an email to bugs@emulamer.com with how you broke it. TO INSTALL: Delete the SiriuCE folder in the "Program Files" folder using the file explorer Download this cab file either directly to your device, or copy it over to your device using windows. Click on the cab file on your device, and it should install. To learn more click here: SiriuCE - Sirius radio player for Pocket PC (this program is free but if you appreciate it, we recommend to donate money to the author - through the "donate" button there - through PayPal) Since many people have Sirius satellite radio receiver only in their cars, they can't listen to it while indoors for example. With SiriuCE and Pocket PC phone with flat rate mobile Internet (GPRS is enough, EDGE or CDMA EVDO are OK too but are not necessary) subscribers of Sirius can enjoy it everywhere anytime! We particularly recommend Jay Thomas Show on Sirius Stars channel...
