Dopod 900/838 versus ETEN M600 SPB Benchmark published November 28, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Which Pocket PC phone has the fastest processor? Is really HTC Universal the fastest with Intel processor at 520 MHz or maybe ETEN M600 with Samsung processor at 400 MHz beats it? Is TI processor at 200 MHz (used in HTC Wizard) not too sloppy for execution of multiple applications at once? Read on! The first article has been just published, that uses SPB benchmark 1.6 to compare Dopod 900 (Universal), Dopod 838(Wizard) and E-TEN M600. It looks like ETEN M600 wins most of items with Samsung 2442 CPU and 128M NAND flash memory. HTC uses TI OMAP 850 200MHz processor to cut costs down but the user really gets troubles when multiple programs are running.
