User manual for Treo 700w smartphone powered by Windows Mobile - available NOW for download December 04, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. While people outside of USA will have to wait another 6-7 months to get their hands on Windows Mobile powered Treo smartphone, Americans in USA are in a better situation: already around January/February 2006 (i.e. in 2-3 months max.) they will be able to buy a perfect smartphone from Palm and powered by perfect mobile operating system: Windows Mobile 5.0! 
Since Palm has added several innovations to standard functionality of Windows Mobile, it may be interesting to see, what we can expect from Palm's entrance into Windows Mobile world... and this user manual gives such insight: Stereo audio over Bluetooth is coming soon to Windows Mobile 5.0 platform - as next upgrade from Microsoft (together with push e-mail) but strangely Palm is writing that it will not be supported: Using a hands-free device with Bluetooth wireless technology Your Treo smartphone is also compatible with many headsets and car kits enabled with Bluetooth wireless technology version 1.1 or 1.2. Please note, however, that you cannot use a Bluetooth headset to listen to MP3 files on your smartphone. Clearly this user manual must be quite old - from times, when this stereo audio over Bluetooth was not yet announced...
