Lies, damned lies and rumors: rumors about Pocket PC phone from Fujitsu Siemens are lies December 15, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Apparently people publish not only mock-up photoshopped images but also totally invented, based on wishful thinking, specifications. Let's separate facts from rumors: The fact is that Fujitsu Siemens plans to introduce in year 2006 a Pocket PC phone device. Everything else, including specifications and images - are lies. Here is a quote from respectable Loox fan site ("Loox" is the name used by Fujitsu Siemens for their Pocket PC devices): Having checked with the people in the know at Fujitsu-Siemens they have confirmed that the mock picture doesn't resemble, in any way, their planned Phone Edition device [...] and that the given specifications are "simply totally wrong". As the Phone Edition Loox is clearly still some way off, information on the coming device is very guarded. Odds are it will be unveiled at CeBIT in March 2006 in Germany - before then we are likely to hear only rumors. Furthermore they claim that this Pocket PC phone will be denoted as Fujitsu Siemens Loox T800 ... but as previously said: as it happened before with Pocket PC phones from HP - several websites are trying just to attract traffic by producing invented (and obviously false) specifications and images... and we should not speculate until something more realistic will come out.
