Gigabyte officially launched g-Smart smartphone - a Pocket PC phone with TV and FM radio receivers
December 19, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R.

Unfortunately it doesn't support digital TV (like DVB-T that is now operational in Europe) but only analog one (NTSC and PAL). If offers also slow Wi-Fi (no 802.11g) and lacks EDGE and UMTS. But if you need a fancy and small Pocket PC phone with analog TV and analog radio (FM, unfortunately no DAB) on board, then this phone may be for you!

Gigabyte launches the first PDA phone featuring TV. The built-in Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 provides the best PDA and PIM (Personal Information Management) solutions for business persons . Besides basic PDA phone functions, g-Smart is equipped with Bluetooth, Wi - Fi and comprehensive English-Chinese two way electronic dictionary. Moreover, the analog TV , up-to-date PAPAGO G10 navigation system and a free 256MB Mini SD card are apt to enrich your leisure life.
