i-mate JAMin - the 2 megapixel Pocket PC phone with built-in Wi-Fi - goes on sale online
January 08, 2006 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R.

2 megapixel camera, built-in fast Wi-Fi (802.11g) and quad-band GSM phone with EDGE! And it looks like HTC Magician (i.e. i-mate JAM):

More information:

The i-mate JAMin is the superb upgrade to the ever popular i-mate JAM. At last a device to meet all our wireless aspirations at the speed our busy lives require. Its features bring you the ultimate single solution to the communications and entertainment needs of the modern day. The JAMin is the same size as the JAM and JAM 128MB

The i-mate JAMin is Quad-band GSM, GPRS and EDGE, WiFi capabilities with dual support (802.11b and 802.11g), Bluetooth compatible and runs on Windows Mobile 5 software which includes standard packages such as Pocket Outlook, Phone, Internet Explorer, MSN Messenger and Games. With a healthy 128MB RAM and ROM, MMC/SDIO slot and 2 Megapixel digital camera slot the i-mate JAMin is packed with full customisable features, as well as being incredibly stylish and easy to use.

To learn more click here (UK version of this online shop; it's available for pre-order in several European divisions of this retailer, but not in USA and not in Germany).

If you are located in USA, then the same phone (i.e. HTC Prophet) is available as Dopod 818 Pro here.

i-mate JAMin basically can be considered as keyboard-less version of i-mate K-JAM, and thank to lack of QWERTY keyboard (that is available in i-mate K-JAM) one is getting in return full size SD card slot (with SDIO functionality). The 2 megapixel camera is another significant improvement.
