More rumors about HP iPAQ hw67515 / hw6710 Pocket PC phone January 08, 2006 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. These rumors can be summarized in 4 words: it has been cancelled. We have been already previously reporting that possibly HP hw6915 / hw6910 Pocket PC phones are coming but now it looks like that not only these hw6900 series phones are coming indeed, but that hw6700 series (i.e. hw6715 and hw6710) have been canceled: an interesting telephone conversation with someone at HP. He was calling to order the iPAQ hw6500 and had a technical question the salesperson couldn't answer. He was then transferred to someone within HP who had the information, but doesn't normally take customer calls. The customer then took the opportunity to ask about the hw6700, and was told that this model has been canceled. Instead, HP supposedly plans to come out later this year with a device to be called the iPAQ hw6900. To read more click here.
