Playing Monopoly with Microsoft Smartphone or modern urban orienteering with GPS ... January 08, 2006 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. The era of GPS gaming has almost arrived (for example with Windows CE powered Gizmondo portable gaming consoles) but your familiar MS Smartphone is not bad too!
Total Sat Nav is an add-on to Total Mobile magazine - the leading British magazine about mobile phones. In latest Total Sat Nav issue an interesting article entitled "Navigating Monopoly" is presented. In this article Microsoft Smartphone (Orange SPV C500) and GPS navigation software for Windows Mobile (CoPilot Live Smartphone) is used to play out "Monopoly" board game but in real life - in London, UK! [...] We'd done it, without any need for free parking or a get out of jail free card. Amazingly, it was done with the minimum of wrong turns and our C500 stayed on course! Clearly for some reason editors of Total Sat Nav went for Windows Mobile rather than Symbian phone in this test and even called Windows Mobile solution by a term "the top system". It looks like Windows Mobile is truly the best choice for GPS navigation...
