ETEN M600 Pocket PC phone is a solid small Pocket PC phone with built-in Wi-Fi and full size SD card slot. Interestingly it has been designed especially for Windows Mobile 5.0 and Sipex company is so proud that it uses their camera flash solution, that they even announce it publicly: Sipex Corporation and E-Ten Corporation today announced that the two companies working together have designed a new product, the M600 Camera phone. This phone incorporates a high power flash LED and uses a Sipex the SP6685 to drive the LED. The SP6685 was chosen because of its high power output in the world's smallest total area and inductorless solution. The M600 is designed to run the Windows Mobile operating system with 5.0 software for Pocket PC's. It also has a GSM quad-band 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, GPRS Class B/Multi-slot Class10, Bluetooth v1.2 and WiFi IEEE802.11b. Additionally, it is designed with a built-in 1.3 megapixels camera, capturing images with up to 1280 x 960 Resolution. The device is equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker along with an external stereo headset jack. Sipex real-time FAE support helped speed the design to a fast and successful conclusion. "We're delighted to be able to support E-Ten technically and commercially. The outstanding flash capability of the M600 makes it a great phone and a terrific camera", said Ed Lam, VP of Marketing and Business Development. "The phone takes excellent flash photos".
