ROM upgrade for T-Mobile MDA Pro released - still without push e-mail

T-Mobile MDA Pro is a 3G Pocket PC phone known also as "HTC Universal".



What's new in the new upgrade? Here is the list:
  • the operation of the whole device becomes faster
  • MSN messenger works again
To learn more or to download this ROM upgrade for T-Mobile MDA Pro click here (you can find there also documentation, modem drivers, etc).

Unfortunately:
  • T-Mobile UK has not released ROM upgrade for T-Mobile MDA Pro yet - this version is only for German version
  • the AKU 2.0 - with Bluetooth stereo audio and push e-mail - still is not included in the upgrade - what indicates that Microsoft has problems and push e-mail may be indefinitely postponed...

Update (credit: Chris from Mannheim/Germany): There's also another NICE feature:
You have an option to lock the device from within the screen and unlock it again.
If it's locked, nothing except the Power-Key and the left menu-button works.
This seems to be a new Windows-Mobile feature, as it is also installed when no Extended ROM is installed but the pure WM5
