HTC publishes Q4 2005 financial results January 29, 2006 [General] | By Edward J. R. Windows Mobile blooms, so no wonder that HTC that makes over 90% of all units sold, is thriving too... The financial results of HTC are very good and seemingly there is no end to growth ... Unfortantely HTC still has problems with UMTS and there are no small Windows Mobile phones with UMTS - there is only one (brick-like HTC Universal) - but if HTC will manage to overcome this UMTS hurdle, then growth of HTC may continue. HTC 2005 net incomes before tax were NT$12,086 million Total revenues of 2005 totaled NT$ 72,775million and year-on-year growth were 99.95%. Net incomes before tax were NT$12,086 million with a 205% of YoY growth rate. EPS before tax in 2005 was NT$ 33.8. For the fourth quarter of 2005, revenues totaled NT$ 27,530 million and net income before tax were NT$ 5,129 million. Gross margin and operating margin rate of Q4 2005 rose up to 26.89% and 19.75%.
