BeautifulPhone : Windows Mobile smartphone as Wi-Fi + GSM phone + remote viewer and controller February 03, 2006 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. Among broadband DSL providers there is a clear trend: to offer mobile phone for GSM combined with Voice over IP over Wi-FI - in one device. Obviously coverage of Wi-Fi is not big (home, office, hot spots) but coverage of GSM is total. While most such "dual phones" (i.e. GSM + VoIP over Wi-Fi) are proprietary devices (with closed firmware), certain French company decided to realize such solution with use of Microsoft Smartphone and some additional software:
