Win Samsung i300 at Samsung Germany ! February 22, 2006 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. If you are located in Germany, then Samsung is offering you possibility to win for free the Samsung SGH-i300 smartphone. There are 3 phones available (for winners) and on top of that also 197 Silk Pearl CDs (for people who will not win the smartphone). This competition is part of Samsung's strategy to encourage people to participate in Samsung Fun Club - an online service for owners of Samsung phones, but also open to other people. The competition is open 04.02.2006 - 30.04.2006. Samsung SGH-i300 in a sense is a flagship phone of Samsung, because it offers built-in 3GB hard disk and very sophisticated audio features (including stereo audio over Bluetooth support). Unfortunately Samsung SGH-i300 has no Wi-Fi and no support for UMTS and the fact that nowadays SD memory cards of size 4 GB for as little as 200 Euro are available - will also not help to promote this phone. Anyway: the upcoming Samsung i320, which is significantly smaller and thinner than Motorola Q, shows that Samsung is serious about Windows Mobile and during CeBIT 2006 we expect that Samsung i750 Pocket PC phone will also be (at last) launched in Europe (in USA Samsung Pocket PC phones are already well known for a longer time).
