MOVIES 'ROK' FULL-SCREEN ON MICROSOFT HANDSETS

Got a PDA? Grab some Popcorn and Watch a Movie Full-Screen with ROK Player!

ROK Player has fixed it for Microsoft PDA users to watch full-length movies, TV comedies and music video albums on the move. ROK Player content-loaded memory cards, already compatible with a range of Nokia's Symbian-powered handsets, is now available on MICROSOFT PDA handsets.

ROK has licensed a library of content to include classic BBC comedies series Little Britain, The League of Gentlemen, The Office and Red Dwarf, and full length feature films including The Shawshank Redemption as well as music video albums and cartoons such as Spongebob Squarepants. All Digital Video Chips are available to purchase online at www.rokplayer.com and at a growing number of mobile phone shops across the UK.

ROK Player, with it's 'Plug and Play' facility, was the first ever service to enable people to watch full-length audio-visual programmes on their mobiles without the need for streaming or downloads. Before ROK Player was launched, leading content owners such as film distributors, TV companies, production houses and record labels had no way of packaging full-length content appropriately for the mobile.

ROK was awarded a patent on 11th January 2006 for its Digital Video Chips, which covers the storage of DRM-protected audio-visual content on memory cards for play on mobile phones.

“Making ROK Digital Video Chips compatible with Microsoft handsets is a massive development for ROK Player. Now we have Microsoft as well as Symbian, we are compatible with around 70% of all smartphones currently being sold.” Said Jonathan Kendrick, Chairman and CEO of ROK Entertainment.”
